Leveraging Meaning – Leveraging Definition
When discussing cash leveraging in the Internet marketing world, the “leveraging meaning” or “leveraging definition” is a little bit different than a typical definition.
Historically, a leveraging definition went something along these lines; Borrowed money to secure an investment or interest. This leveraging meaning was more definitive of a persons ability to secure a loan or investment capital and use it for securing assets of one type or another. One of the biggest examples of leveraging today is a home mortgage. In a typical mortgage situation, the borrower probably does not have the capital to make an outright purchase of a particular piece of real estate, but they may have the credit to secure a loan for the property. This is an example of leveraging resources, in this case the lender, to secure a note on the property without using your own money.
In terms of online marketing and making money online, we refer to cash leveraging in terms of creating a team of participants that are working towards a similar goal. If you participate in a marketing or advertising co-op, you are using other people’s money to secure expensive advertising. This method of leveraging works well for someone that may want to participate in a form of media advertising such as television or radio, but lacks the funds to buy blocks of air time. However, by using leveraging techniques, this person is able to secure small blocks of time with others without using all of their advertising budgets on one specific type of advertising.
There is also a leveraging meaning that refers to time leveraging. This is extremely important for Internet marketers and anyone running a business. In a typical business sense, employees are a way that a business owner can leverage time. You are able to send an employee out to be productive and receive a percentage of the profits for the time spent on the project. J. Paul Getty stated that he would rather have 1 hour of 100 people than 100 hours of his own time, a perfect example of leveraging the efforts of others.
An online definition of time leveraging comes in the forms of network marketing or residual profits. Developing a team here is essential. In many designed marketing plans, building a network of distributors is necessary. As a sponsor, you will earn a small percentage of the efforts of those working “under” you in the network. This is a win/win situation for many because not only can you profit in time and money as a sponsor, but it also motivates the inviter or sponsor to work with the distributor to build their own organization.
These are just a few examples of the leveraging definition cash leveraging. Understanding the leveraging meaning in marketing is crucial to your online success.
